He's Here!

After a long 9 month wait, the waiting is over.

I accomplished my first aquatic workout to day in MY OWN POOL!

I was told that I needed to name it. (After waiting 9 months and using the whole pregnancy thing.)  I have chosen the name Bob!  I am a fan of the Biggest Loser.  Bob is my favorite trainer.  He keeps his team motivated.  So......Bob the Pool is going to keep me motivated.

Oh ya, I started counting calories a couple of weeks ago (I hate counting calories) and have lost 10 pounds.

Life is good!

  1. Yippee! I'm so excited! Bob is an excellent name for a pool.

Also, way to go on counting calories. It can be a bear sometimes, but it helps me get a better idea of what I'm ingesting and how much.

  2. Congratulations!!!! for the pool and losing 10 pounds!

  3. I saw people up at your house and hoped! Yeah! I am so glad you finally get to use your pool. I actually checked your blog yesterday to see...but nope. Enjoy your swim.

  4. WAHOO!!! I'd LOVE to have a swimming pool. I grew up with one and I Love the water.

Maybe I should try counting calories. I've never done that before. I guess I'll remain in denial. Heck, I haven't even got on a scale for years....except at the doctor's office. I know, I know, it's getting obvious but I tend to get to obsessed, so I just keep exercising here and there, not counting calories and never weighing myself.

So.....I'm thinking a pool may just be the thing I need. ;)

By the way....I love the little bit's of trivia that Chance comes home from school with. He collects facts and spits them back at the oddest times he was telling me about tree frogs and the little suckers on their fingers. There was something else he told me that made me laugh but of course I can't remember that one. Thanks for being such a great teacher. And congratulations and good luck with Bob.

  5. that is awesome! you have been talking about it for a while on here! :) hope you enjoy it! I should name my running shoes Bob too... maybe that would help me get to the gym...
